Anabella Marie Giacobbe
September 13, 2000 - September 24, 2022

Anabella Marie Giacobbe passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 24, 2022. She was 22 years old.

A beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, girlfriend, niece, cousin, and friend, Anabella “Bella” was born September 13th, 2000, and resided in Rahway for 22 years of her life, with her adoring parents Laura and Raymond, along with her brother Raymond III.

Bella, who was so incredibly loved by all, was an established young woman, who in her short life, accomplished many accolades.  Bella attended Union Catholic High School, where she was an avid member in her community through the mentoring programs, student council, and becoming class president. Bella was an honor roll student and talented athlete who played volleyball, lacrosse, track and field, and basketball during her four years at Union Catholic High school. She graduated in 2018.

Bella went on to attend college at Rutgers University where she played club volleyball and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology this past May 2022. Bella just started as a volleyball coach at St. Thomas Aquinas. Because of her love for children, Bella had hoped to one day become a teacher, which like all things in her life, she would have excelled at.

Bella’s beautiful spirit will serve as an inspiration to family, friends and community to keep her memory alive with the love that we had for her.

Bella is survived by her Mother Laura, Father Raymond, and Brother Raymond III, love of her life Jacob Mintel. Paternal Grandparents Gina and Joseph Bost, and Raymond Giacobbe Sr., Maternal Grandparents, Yolanda and Colixo Guerra, Great-grandparents Lorraine and Raffio  Giacobbe, Uncle Joey and Aunt Melissa Giacobbe, Uncle Manny and Aunt Heba Guerra, Aunt Wanda Guerra, along with her many adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
