The Blue and Gold Club at Franklin Elementary School in Rahway has done so many wonderful things throughout the school year to help their community including visiting the Linden Animal Shelter.

During a previous visit to the shelter, Cayla Keregyarto, one of the members of the club asked the shelter what are some things that they need. Cayla then thought it would be a good idea to run a collection to help the shelter. Cayla asked students and staff to bring in and donate various things for the shelter.

Cayla’s efforts were very successful. Food, treats, toys, towels, cat litter, paper plates and many more items were brought in and donated to this good cause. Cayla was able to collect four large boxes full of items for the shelter in only a two-week period. Kudos to Cayla for your loving heart.
