The public information session is to engage and provide information to the public as the study gets underway
NEW YORK – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, is hosting a public information session with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to kick off the Rahway River Basin Tidal Area Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study and share information with the public.
The public information session will be held Thursday evening May 7, 2015 at the Rahway Public Library at 2 City Hall Plaza in Rahway, New Jersey. The first informal poster board session will begin at 6:45pm, with a formal presentation being given at 7:15pm.
At the session, the public will be able to learn more about the Rahway River Basin Tidal Area Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study and the Army Corps of Engineers planning process. During this information session, the public will have the opportunity to discuss the study with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and New Jersey DEP personnel and to provide feedback and leave comments.
The public information session will include two open house poster board and information exchange sessions with a formal presentation given between each poster board session.
The meeting agenda is slated to be as follows:
6:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. – Poster Board Session and Information Exchange
7:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. – Formal Presentation
7:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – Poster Board Session and Information Exchange
